We're looking for an experienced marketer who is passionate about bringing a better video consumption experience to people on Facebook. You will be responsible for marketing products that bring video to life in new and immersive ways in News Feed, help people connect socially around video, and make Facebook video a better experience for people in emerging markets and on new platforms. You will work on all aspects of the product lifecycle — informing product strategy, go-to-market planning and execution, and adoption of video creation, consumption and sharing experiences on Facebook. The right person can drive both strategy and execution, is analytical and creative, and cares deeply about making video on Facebook a first-class experience for everyone, everywhere on every device.
Develop marketing strategies and plan to achieve consumer product goals.
Develop core product positioning and messaging for key video products and features, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and other factors.
Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to influence product strategy and inform go-to-market plans.
Create go-to-market plans, collaborating closely with product, partnerships, PR, and other cross-functional teams to determine effective launch strategy, including rollout sequencing, creative asset development, and communication goals to best drive awareness, engagement, and adoption.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (including PR, product, and policy stakeholders) to create integrated marketing moments.
Plan and lead successful marketing campaigns to efficiently drive product awareness and adoption.
Lead and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to bring marketing campaigns, programs and assets to life across multiple channels.
Understand specific needs and sensitivities of consumers and video publishers in both developed and developing markets around the world.
Author and review partner-facing communication, such as blog posts and collateral.
Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem and competitive landscape to develop strategic product feedback and positioning.
5+ years of experience in marketing new products for internet/consumer tech companies.
International experience, particularly in emerging markets.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication skills and communicating to technical, business, and consumer-facing audiences.
Understanding of web and mobile technologies and the consumer video landscape both in the U.S. and internationally.
