Summary:

Facebook is seeking an experienced Manager to assist in integrating Facebook’s campus with regional transportation initiatives and address the concerns of both our employees and the neighborhoods with whom we seek to partner. The Transportation & Mobility Manager will manage a diverse range of projects, will participate with regional agencies, and will have proven experience delivering major projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivery of complicated bus / road and rail projects, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of innovative delivery mechanisms including P3 structures. This full-time position will be located at our Menlo Park Headquarters

Required Skills:

  1. Plan, organize and develop programs and projects.

  2. Work with stakeholders to develop and define project scope.

  3. Interpret and analyze the impacts of complex legislation, regulations, ordinances, contracts, and financial documents.

  4. Independently perform professional level transportation planning and project delivery work, including preparing staff reports, policy documents, and financial analyses.

  5. Research complex issues as they relate to transportation development programs, goals, or objectives.

  6. Communicate effectively to individuals and groups representing various organizational and socio-economic levels.

  7. Establish and maintain effective relationships with local, regional, state, and federal transportation agencies, private sector organizations supporting transportation, public service groups, the general public and fellow employees.

  8. Educate community member about the transportation needs of identified program participants and the importance of mobility to the economy of the Bay Area and California.

  9. Research transportation and mobility options that align with housing needs, and other community opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Masters in Regional or Urban Planning, Public Administration, Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Real Estate, or related field.

  2. Minimum of 15 years experience in all aspects of Project Delivery, Managing Planning, and Real Estate processes.

  3. Ability to work effectively within deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment

  4. Organizational skills coupled with attention to detail and follow-up.

  5. Ability to build relationships all level of the company
