Facebook Technical Program Manager – Security Detection & Response in Menlo Park, California

Facebook’s Protect & Care team is seeking a highly talented and motivated technical program manager to help our detection teams catch and respond to attackers. The team protects the security and safety of the people who use Facebook and its family of products. We are looking for candidates that share our passion for safety and security, tackling complex problems with innovative technology, and building sustainable solutions that scale. The ideal Technical Program Manager will have experience in building systems at scale, understanding of workflows and case management tooling. This position is located in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage cross-functional security engineering projects spanning across the company and technology stack

  2. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, ensure on-time delivery, provide day-to-day coordination, and quality assurance for tasks.

  3. Design measurements to track impact, drive internal process improvements, create and influence cross functional engineering roadmaps.

  4. Deliver innovative solutions to continually improve our detection and IR capabilities at scale, across numerous products and platforms.

  5. Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  2. At least 4 years experience in technical program management and/or building security programs.

  3. Understanding of attack vectors, detection and response methods, across multiple layers of the technology stack.

  4. Analytical and organizational skills, along with proven track record of getting things done in a fast paced environment.

    1. Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration across organizations, including cross-functional technical teams.

    2. Experience working on programs that impact large-scale systems
