Facebook Technical Program Manager – Data Security in Menlo Park, California

Facebook’s Protect & Care team is seeking a highly talented and motivated technical program manager to help keep our billions of users safe from real world threats. As a technical program manager working on security, you will play a key role in delivering innovative approaches to data security that span the entire organization. This position is located in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner with security and data engineering teams to manage cross functional data security projects to build access management models at scale.

  2. Drive engineering improvements within the team to define better tooling and models for data security.

  3. Provide hands on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phase.

  4. Collaborate closely with peers to unify ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.

  5. Drive internal process improvements, remove gaps, across multiple teams and ensure teams are working on high impact projects that align with goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  2. Minimum five years of software engineering / systems engineering / similar experience. In addition, at least two years of program management experience.

  3. Organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast paced environment.

  4. Experience working on programs that impact large-scale systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in Web or Internet start-up environment
