We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join the Facebook product partnerships education team. This individual will be responsible for supporting Facebook's partnerships in education, with a primary focus on Facebook’s partnership with Summit Public Schools. In this role, you will engage with schools and with some of the world's most influential companies. You will work closely with our world-class engineering and product teams, with a primary focus on education. We work cross-functionally with engineering, legal, marketing and operations teams to develop new capabilities, improve user experience, make our partners successful, and improve products offered to our partners in education. The ability to achieve results through others is essential as the role requires close alignment with all of our key stakeholders at Summit and Facebook. This is a full-time role based in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Create partner demand for the Summit Personalized Learning Platform throughout the country and long-term, globally.

  2. Represent Summit and Facebook in a variety of public settings, both online and in-person events.

  3. Work with Summit Schools partnerships team on their end to end partner recruitment cycle, which includes: outreach, application, partner selection, training, development of materials and other supports, and on-boarding process.

  4. Work to identify scalable solutions for continued future growth for Summit Personalized Learning partnerships.

  5. Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business and technical issues and serving as an internal advocate.

  6. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch education products and partnerships.


  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 5+ years of relevant work experience with product, partnership, or technical experience in education.

  3. Willingness and ability to travel (approximately 25%)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with executing at scale in sales, marketing, partnership programs, or related areas.

  2. Experience with educational technology and personalized learning programs.

  3. Experience with solving problems that span education and technology.

  4. Experience with defining, developing, assessing and refining based on feedback and lead programs

  5. Experience with relationship management and representing a global organization.

  6. Analytical experience with an orientation for making decisions.
