Facebook Sourcing Manager, Server and Storage Products in Menlo Park, California

This Sourcing Manager position will act as the primary contact for server & storage product and services which support Facebook’s mass production build and ships requirements to its data centers globally. As a Sourcing Manager you will support the day to day operations and fulfillment activities while working closely with internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for analytics, performance management, and reporting. This position is part of the Sourcing and Operations Engineering team and is based at our Menlo Park office reporting to the Manager Planning and Strategic Supply Chain.

Required Skills:

  1. Communication of forecast

  2. Build plan review and coordination with ODM partners

  3. Ensure alignment between capacity plan priorities and ODM delivery commits

  4. Review and approval of all engineering change orders

  5. Clear-to-build readiness reviews

  6. Quote compilation and accuracy

  7. Monitor ODM performance to pricing and business splits as defined by commodity team Purchase order accuracy and PPV adjustment

  8. SLA Performance: Measure, manage and improve supplier actual performance against negotiated service level agreements (SLA).

  9. On time Delivery: Measure, report and action to improve delivery performance.

    1. Ongoing Cost Productivity: Measure, report and action cost improvement as compared to market pricing and pricing models.

    2. Scorecard Management: Lead measuring supplier performance, root cause issues, and driving improved performance.

    3. Own all aspects of supplier performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent years of industry experience in a technical or business related field

  2. 5+ years’ of experience in Sourcing Management or Supply Chain Management with a technology focus

  3. Experience working in an analytical and results focused role.

  4. Most have experience in improving supply chain and supplier performance processes.

  5. Experience in using cost models and objective based performance measures, in both ODM and OEM environments.

  6. Previous experience working with and managing ODM suppliers located in China, Mexico, EU and North America.

  7. Fluent in speaking Mandarin
