Are you excited about the opportunity to design security product, services and process solutions across an entire Virtual Reality business? We are looking for candidates that share our passion for pragmatically tackling complex security problems head-on, to help build an industry leading safe and secure Virtual Reality platform that spans across multiple device product lines. As a Security Program Manager for Oculus, you will play a key role across the entire organization, driving impactful security projects and providing security assessment and process guidance. This is a full-time position based in our Oculus office in Seattle and will report into the Facebook Security Program Management team.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage cross-functional Product Security & Engineering projects in a diverse organization

  2. Develop and design technical product security solutions for Oculus' growing product portfolio

  3. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans to ensure on-time delivery, provide day-to-day coordination, and quality assurance for tasks

  4. Develop and design scalable, light-weight security processes and tooling solutions that integrate into existing engineering culture and processes

  5. Design measurements to track impact, drive internal process improvements, create and influence cross-functional roadmaps

  6. Interface with Security & Engineering business owners & leaders for project requirements and scope

  7. Help drive engineering decisions to align with higher company initiatives

  8. Become a liaison between different security teams across Facebook and Oculus

  9. Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  2. 5+ years experience in technical program management, software engineering, or similar experience

  3. At least 4 years of hands-on technical computer security experience

  4. Experience with either application ecosystem security, platform and OS security or service security

  5. Analytical and problem-solving skills, exposure to large-scale systems and experience writing & reading code

  6. Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration across a diverse organization, including cross-functional technical teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience designing and delivering consumer product security roadmaps and security features

  2. Experience formulating actionable security architecture and designs

  3. Core understanding of common security protocols (TLS, IPsec, etc.) and cryptographic primitives

  4. Experience designing and implementing organization wide security initiatives and processes

  5. Proven executive communication skills

  6. Proven technical communication skills
