Facebook is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, process & detail-oriented and creative Sales Operations Associate who will serve as a member of Facebook’s core Sales Operations team through partnerships with key stakeholders in the organization. The role will be part of the Global Sales Operations group, with a day-to-day focus on our Sales Planning & Operations organization. The Sales Operations Associate will work cross-functionally with several organizations at Facebook (including operations and client support teams), with the primary objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic operating decisions. The primary focus of the Associate position will be working with cross-functional groups to evaluate productivity and efficiency across teams and regions, improve efficiency through automation and process improvement, and introduce tools to facilitate an operational cadence around performance metrics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook, interested in advertising, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects. This position is located in our Menlo Park, California office.
- Operating performance analysis:
Support teams with planning, process and operational asks, including revenue potential, product focus, resourcing and process design
Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers
Process efficiency and Automation:
Focus on process and continuous improvement through process alignment and enhancement of key sales processes
Project-manage the development and automation of localized tools and dashboards that teams can use to extract data and insights
BA/BS degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field)
5+ years of work experience in Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 3+ years with MBA/Master’s degree
Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
Demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences
Excel skills required
MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Prior experience with online advertising
