Facebook Sales Communications Associate, Global Business Marketing in Menlo Park, California

Facebook's Global Business Marketing team is looking for an experienced communication strategist to developing and managing updates to our sales and marketing teams. This role will focus on helping educate and grow awareness for new and existing advertising products across Facebook's family of apps and services (i.e., Facebook, Instagram and the Facebook Audience Network). Client-facing teams are key to telling the Facebook story and driving adoption of our latest innovations and it is critical that they are armed with all the latest solutions and strategies. The ideal candidate for the role is an independent self-starter with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. This role will require the ability to collaborate with product marketers, sales, and PR teams around the world. A passion for writing is helpful in this position. Understanding of Facebook's products/platform is a must; sales or agency experience is preferred. This position is full-time and based in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to streamline internal communications and information flow to Facebook sales and marketing teams

  2. Partner with Product Marketing teams on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans

  3. Stay up-to-date with the ads and products offering across the Facebook family

  4. Produce and curate weekly internal and external communications

  5. Build strong relationships across the global sales organization to understand needs and gather feedback

  6. Help develop processes for a two-way flow of information between sales and sales support organizations (e.g., marketing, training, etc.)

  7. Work collaboratively across other Facebook teams, including but not limited to product marketing, SMB, PR, and global sales learning

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years experience in marketing, sales or communications. Relevant experience includes sales or agency account management, strategic planning, product marketing or business strategy roles

  2. Experience creating sales enablement collateral or copy

  3. History of self-initiated projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Demonstrated understanding of Facebook products and platforms

  2. History of working in a cross-functional capacity within a dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  3. Familiarity with HTML and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
