Summary:

That’s why we, along with other tech companies, launched Internet.org (http://internet.org/), a global partnership to make the Internet available to the two thirds of the world’s population that doesn’t have it. More than half the population of the world are not yet connected to the Internet. The Connectivity Lab is doing research to develop the next generation technologies to connect everyone on the planet to the Internet. We are looking for someone to define the impact of the programs being developed at Connectivity Lab to get everyone connected. You will partner with internal and external resources to analyze data, develop financial models, survey market ecosystems, then develop and execute business and go-to-market plans for impact driven delivery of the programs. The successful candidate will be adept at evaluating complex programs and markets from a global level to a local scale across broad ecosystems from terrestrial to aerospace systems across radio and optical communications technologies.

Required Skills:

  1. Define and manage program impact goals across program teams, research groups, the company and external market ecosystems.

  2. Partner with our program leads, scientists and communications engineers to model and evaluate new communications systems.

  3. Research market ecosystem landscapes in relevant fields of communications systems being developed to inform business and go-to-market delivery plans and partnerships

  4. Create and identify key relationships that enable Connectivity Lab innovations to be taken to market.

  5. Lead cross functional teams to build out comprehensive plans for partnerships and go-to-market

  6. Communicate impact driven plans to senior management, the broader organization and external market ecosystems

  7. Develop partnerships with external researchers and research facilities for new Connectivity Labs programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS in Engineering or related with 5+ years of experience.

  2. MBA or graduate level degree in management.

    1. 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity or venture capital.

    2. 2+ years of experience of RF and Optical systems.

    3. 2+ years of experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives.

    4. 2+ years of experience problem solving and analysis.

    5. Experience presenting to executives and communicating to a technical management team.
