Facebook Project Manager, Media Operations - Teens in Menlo Park, California

The Media Operations team develops solutions for public figures on Facebook and Instagram by creating scaled systems to address the issues impacting their experience with our product and support, analyzing how they interact with products and each other, and packaging these insights for the rest of the company. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about Facebook's products, emerging creators on social media, and our mission, and is relentless in finding smarter, better, faster ways of getting things done. This individual will serve as the voice of media publishers internally, working directly with Strategic Partner Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, Community Operations, User Experience Research and other partners to ensure an amazing experience. In addition to these core operational responsibilities, this individual will spend at least 50% of his or her time focused on emerging / teen creators, to ensure that this group has exceptional support experiences and that the team is in lock step with Facebook’s Emerging Creator Team. This is a full-time position located in Menlo Park, California.
Become an expert in the support experience for public figures and media companies on Facebook and Instagram
Develop and share deep expertise on media/public content products
Serve as the primary emerging creator point of contact for Media Operations, joining recurring Emerging Creator Product Team meetings and projects to represent the team and to establish and maintain expertise in Facebook product experiences for public figures
Listen to partners and partner managers with the ability to modify services and support to generate exceptional experiences
Develop scaled solutions, specifically for emerging creator products that address creators' Facebook experience, work flow inefficiencies, and product deficiencies
Analyze emerging creator interaction with our products, and communicate insights to Product Management, Engineering, Policy, and other partners within the company
Drive product adoption and usage by supporting partner facing programs and effective product launch support
BA or BS Degree
3+ years of experience in online operations, consulting, or account, partner, or project management
Analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of online business models and Internet/consumer technology
Understanding of how the broader social media landscape is changing
Experience at solving problems that span business and technology and storytelling to an audience
Experience with identifying, utilizing and communicating performance metrics
Ability to define, develop and lead programs
Relationship management skills and ability to work within global organization
Proven ability to influence others without having positional authority
Understanding of Facebook and Instagram
- 2+ years spent working in the internet technology or digital marketing space
