Summary:

Facebook is seeking a strategic, analytical, and process/detail-oriented Program Management Lead who can work effectively with sales & marketing leadership to drive better business decisions. The objective of this role is to lead on global projects & drive strategic business decisions in close partnership with sales & marketing leadership by using clear frameworks, deploying excellent communication tactics, and producing deep analyses that will be the foundation upon which the recommendations are built. These business decisions touch upon many aspects of the Global Sales & Marketing organization, including organizational design, revenue growth opportunities, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is passionate about Facebook, views the world through an analytical lens, is a clear communicator, an inspiring leader, can quickly build relationships with people of varying personality types, is interested in advertising, and is able to move fast & independently on high-impact projects. This is a full-time position and is located in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Strategic Planning & Analysis:

  2. Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for Global Sales & Marketing Leadership team, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization as required

  3. Analyze and interpret data to unearth weaknesses and problems, and comprehend the causes

  4. Formulate recommendations and solutions within documented capabilities and limitations

  5. Project Management:

  6. Identify, manage & coordinate sales & marketing wide projects that have a high impact

  7. Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes

  8. Manage the relationship with all stakeholders, mitigating conflicts & issues as they arise

  9. Analyze problems and devise solutions to roadblocks & unique challenges across diverse projects

  10. Drive projects forward, on task, ensuring they are delivered on time & within scope

  11. Assist in implementation of the plan and resolve any occasional discrepancies

  12. Focus on process and continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

  13. Perform risk management to minimize project risks & escalate where appropriate

  14. Communications:

  15. Present findings and suggestions with ample justification and practical advice

  16. Build & own end to end communication plans & training material for key process improvements

  17. Lead specific initiatives to drive operational alignment, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization where appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS

  2. 15+ years of work experience in Management Strategy Consulting or Sales Planning & Operations, or 13+ years with MBA/Master’s degree

  3. Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

  4. Demonstrated ability to explain concepts to audiences

  5. Excel skills

  6. Prior people management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field

  2. Prior experience with online advertising

  3. Experience working with or in support of many different business units

  4. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

  5. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
