Facebook is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead our China export advertising product effort. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about mobile advertising, product development and has an extensive background working in China with Chinese advertisers or agencies. This position will be responsible for developing and executing against global launch plans to bring advertising products to market in key markets around the world. The successful candidate is data-driven, focused on the needs of key digital advertisers, and can effectively work with colleagues across the company to drive results. This is an end-to-end product marketing role including but not limited to: initiating the development of new products, defining market requirements, providing analytic proofs for product strategy internally, running product alpha and beta tests, and developing/executing go-to-market strategies and collateral for new advertising products for Chinese advertisers. This person will be responsible for building innovative products to take our export advertising business to the next level. This position is full-time and based in our main office in Menlo Park, CA.
Work with clients, partners, resellers, product and sales teams to understand advertiser needs and outline the requirements of the market to inform the product roadmap
Aggregate, distill and prioritize product feedback from multiple sales and partnership channels
Analyze product performance—evaluate and explore new strategic opportunities for revenue products
Test alpha and beta products, coordinate with cross-functional team for product launch
Position and launch advertising products to customers. Ensure that all product features and benefits are clearly articulated to customers and sales teams. Write communications, product documentation, and develop collateral for sales teams
BA/BS degree required
8+ years professional experience in a corporate environment or startup, with at least 2+ years working in a product marketing capacity (partnered closely with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements and with sales to support product launches)
2+ years experience in online advertising with experience with advertisers, agencies, resellers in China
Understanding of the needs of digital advertisers
eCommerce and digital marketing experience
Quantitative analytical ability and strategic thinking
Demonstrated capacity to communicate concepts
Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment and executing large-scale projects
Mandarin business language fluency
Experience working with international teams/agencies or living in China
