Messenger is one of the fastest growing apps in the world – over 1.2B people use it every month. Messenger offers a rich and expressive way to communicate with the people and businesses that matter to you. In addition to texting, you can make free voice and video calls, make payments, play games, send stickers & gifs and chat with groups. Messenger is also redefining the boundaries of messaging apps with novel visual messaging features, end-to-end encryption, a hugely popular bot platform, AI, and topic-based conversation spaces. As a team, we combine the best parts of working at a startup with global scale. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers to help innovate and execute product initiatives that will set the foundation for Messenger Monetization. This position is full time and based at our Menlo Park office.
Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products to help Facebook monetize Messenger
Establish shared vision across the company by aligning priorities and partnering across multiple teams
Drive product strategy and execution, working hands-on with engineers, designers, and analysts to build products that can scale across our global user base
Prioritize product development activities through rigorous testing and experimentation
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
5+ years product management related experience
Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Communication and presentation skills
Organizational and analytical skills
Experience developing consumer, e-commerce and/or ad related products
MBA or 1+ years experience in investment banking or consulting
