Facebook Payroll Lead in Menlo Park, California

We are hiring an experienced Payroll Lead who can be a key contributor in a high-energy, growth environment and is requiring someone who is driven to satisfy internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will contribute at a hands on level to cultivate an amazing and innovative Facebook culture as it scales in size. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, this position is located in our Menlo Park Headquarters.

Required Skills:

  1. Help process the bi-weekly Non-Exempt and Exempt multi-state payroll processing for 12,000+ employees, utilizing ADP 

  2. Data entry of employee information 

  3. Auditing Payroll data 

  4. Calculate manual payroll checks as needed 

  5. Assist employees on payroll and benefit related inquiries 

  6. Assist on various ad hoc projects, including communications to and follow up with employees 

  7. Play a role in our US & Canada payroll operations 

  8. Work closely with Stock Administration, Legal, Tax and HR Departments in the administration of payroll and equity related issues 

  9. Process complex payroll transactions such as business travels, inpat/expats, and relocation

  10. Interacts with external vendors to ensure that data is processed accurately and timely

  11. Execute inbound/outbound interfaces with a third party vendors

  12. Collaborate with People Operations team

  13. Deep understanding of system landscape and ability to detect the issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree 

  2. 8+ years Payroll experience in a public company 

  3. Computer skills with MS Office, including Excel with the ability to create pivot tables, v-lookups and capable of handling volume of data

  4. Analytical and problem solving skills

  5. Ability to find the root cause of the issues and improve processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with ADP

  2. FPC/CPP
