Summary:
The Infrastructure Support & Operations Services (ISOS) team designs, implements and continuously evolves systems and processes to support all aspects of Data Center Operations. In order to meet this need, the ISOS team provides Program Management Oversight for new product technologies and processes around compute, network, storage, and rack design initiatives We are seeking a Operations/New Product Integration Program Manager to manage process and product life cycles, drive tooling roadmap development, and conduct process improvement and integration initiatives. The ideal person for this role will have a blend of real world data center operations and large-scale product and project development experiences that will enable them to be impactful with strategic initiatives and tactical projects. If you have a strong appetite for technology and enjoy working in small, agile, empowered teams solving complex problems within a high energy, oftentimes chaotic environment then this is the role for you. This position is full time and located in Menlo Park, California. This full-time position is based at our main office in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Work with multiple internal and cross functional Stakeholders to identify, align, prioritize and document roadmap/vision for programs that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of new product integration within the constantly evolving DC ecosystem

  2. Align cross-functional stakeholders on objectives and goals for the process improvements, gather and prioritize requirements. Manage the planning and implementation of process improvements

  3. Manage expectations of all interested parties – define clear process improvements goals with key deliverable and milestone dates. Maintain the status wiki pages and provide frequent updates. Identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall program

  4. Work with various program managers and engineering teams to design and develop a scalable solution that meets the goals and objectives

  5. Drive towards problem resolution despite ambiguity or uncertainty

  6. Build relationships, gain consensus, remove tension/roadblocks and focus on the end solution

  7. Develop process definition documentation including but not limited to, process description, process maps, process flow diagrams, relationship matrix’s, requirements specifications and key metrics for program success

  8. Responsible for examining existing processes, evaluating them within the context of organizational goals and proposing changes or enhancements to help achieve those goals

  9. Conduct gap analysis on what tools/processes are missing/required to meet the identified larger objectives

    1. Responsible for coordinating the activities of individuals and departments involved in a particular process, and ensuring that they are working as efficiently and effectively as possible

    2. Continuously make suggestions to improve processes in regards to productivity and scale

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, or related field

  2. 8+ years work experience in Program/Project Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business

  3. Proven track record of defining, modeling and improving processes

  4. Must have experience establishing and tracking process metrics, as well as a record of building and improving operational processes and procedures

  5. Proven project management, inter-personal, time-management and communication skills, with attention to detail

  6. Knowledge of Six Sigma and other project and process management systems

  7. Ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies

  8. Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously

  9. Having data center experience

  10. Product Manufacturing and/or systems engineering experience

  11. Flexible with changing program scopes and goals

  12. Some travel will be required (including International travel)
