Facebook Marketing Operations Manager - Performance & Reporting in Menlo Park, California

We seek an experienced Marketing Operations Manager who is passionate about business operations and strategic planning. The successful candidate must have strong experience managing business operations, strategic planning, financial oversight, resource management, and logistics in a fast paced Internet or online marketing company. He or she must thrive with cross- functional teams and exhibit excellent organizational, communication and financial analytic skills.

This is a full-time position based at headquarters in Menlo Park. This role will report to the Marketing Operations department.

Required Skills:

  1. Build and optimize systems, tools and standards to improve how the marketing organization works together, with cross-functional partners, and external vendors and contractors. This person will own the development and management of all marketing-wide tools.

  2. Create strong business partnerships with leaders of all levels and departments within the Marketing organization. Will liaise with core embedded operational counterparts in Product Marketing, Insights, Program and Creative.

  3. Develop a strategic marketing mindset to drive discipline and rigor to evaluate the impact of our marketing. This includes aligning marketing resources and budget to organizational goals and product priorities to determine effectiveness and utilization.

  4. Provide regular reporting to marketing operations and leadership team.

  5. Actively manage and share reporting on marketing priorities and drive visibility into org-wide initiatives.

  6. Manage ongoing prioritization of product and brand work funnel to leadership with regular business updates.

  7. Manage quarterly Marketing Finance Review with CMO and CFO to review strategic campaigns, effectiveness, and upcoming plans.

  8. Lead planning for marketing organization, this includes H1/H2 goals and prioritization for Ops , best practices across the organization, headcount planning and budget allocation etc

  9. Additionally this person will own projects that help scale the ops organization such as CMO programs and special marketing-wide initiatives

    1. Manage day-to-day operational needs of the Marketing Ops organization which includes areas such as Budget/Forecast support and management and recruiting and hiring support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years professional experience in technology and management or business consulting

  2. Demonstrated marketing/business operations, strategic planning, financial oversight, resource management, and logistics experience in the web technology sector and the ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels

  3. Experience working with product or technical organizations

  4. Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and Keynote, Planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree

  2. Ability to set priorities, problem-solve, and multi-task

  3. Analytical and problem-solving skills

  4. Experience defining and implementing processes and project management skills

  5. Ability to work cross-functionally across disciplines and levels

  6. Ability to communicate with peers, cross functional partners and internal and external stakeholders
