Summary:
Facebook’s Audience Network helps publishers monetize their audiences through access to over 4 million global advertisers and delivery technology. The Audience Network uses powerful people-based marketing to make it easy for publishers to show their audience better, more relevant ads while driving the best results for advertisers. The Audience Network Marketplace Management team is an analytics group focused on optimizing yield for the publishers while ensuring our advertisers see effective and valuable delivery on the Audience Network. The team conducts research into the Audience Network marketplace, provides data and insights to guide overall product and business strategy, and identifies best practices that improve publisher yield or advertiser value. The Manager for the Marketplace Management team is a role that requires someone who can recruit and develop a strong team of quantitative analysts as well as influence sales and product through analytics. The manager will set the overall vision for the Marketplace Management team and its key objectives. They will need to be seen as a credible, dispassionate leader by key senior stakeholders from Engineering, Product, and Sales. At the same time, there will be hands on components for the role so candidates must be comfortable defining and executing their own research projects. This position is full time and located in our office in Menlo Park or Seattle. Some amount of travel (domestic and international) will be expected in the role.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage a team of four to five analysts.

  2. Set goals for the team and communicate priorities and progress to key stakeholders.

  3. Via deep understanding of the Audience Network business and analysis of its drivers, identify key initiatives and push on those through product and sales.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years experience in quantitative roles.

  2. Prior experience managing team of researchers and analysts.

  3. Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, or Finance)

  4. Experience with SQL and Excel/modeling skills.

  5. Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results

  6. Experience operating cross functionally

    1. Experience in consumer internet and social media

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA or higher degree
