Facebook Instructional Designer, Global Sales Learning in Menlo Park, California

Summary:
Facebook is looking for a creative and innovative Content Developer/Instructional Designer to join our Global Sales Learning team. The Global Sales Learning team supports sales teams across the Global Marketing Solutions organization at Facebook. In this position you will partner with Program Managers to design and launch training deliverables including job aids, eLearnings and instructor-led sessions.

This position reports to the Global Development Leader and is based in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Design and develop instructional material for our global sales teams including all creative assets (motion graphics, videos, etc.)

  2. Independently develop entry and advanced-level courses for internal audiences.

  3. Utilize multimedia technology and eLearning authoring tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years professional experience in Instructional Design

  2. Experience with development eLearning tools such as Articulate, Storyline, Lectora, Inspire, Captivate, Camtasia

  3. Experience in developing online and blended learning solutions, incorporating graphics, audio, video and animation

  4. Experience in virtual (instructor-led, web-based) classroom course development and delivery

  5. Knowledge of LMS and SCORM requirements

  6. Experience using publishing tools (Office and Adobe products)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Ability to demonstrate needs analysis, project management, course development and evaluation skills

  2. Understanding of adult learning principles in the content development process

  3. Ability to translate complex topics into simple, bite-sized learning topics

  4. Demonstrated ability to work as a team player or independently

  5. Experience having worked in a sales or product training environment

  6. Project management experience with energy to bring ideas into product and sales training and delivery campaigns

  7. Communication and presentation skills

  8. Experience working in a start-up environment
