Facebook HR Early Career Program Manager - GMS in Menlo Park, California

Summary:
Facebook is seeking an HR Programs Manager to support our Global Marketing Solutions (GMS) organization. The HR Program Manager will be responsible for creating and executing a number of Onboarding and Learning & Development programs aimed at attracting and developing diverse early-in-career talent for GMS. This role will report to the Head of HR for GMS and will be based in Menlo Park, CA.

Required Skills:

  1. Partner with the University Recruiting team, GMS leadership, Finance and Sales Operations to determine demand for university talent across all GMS functions globally.

  2. Assess development needs then create and execute an on-boarding and learning roadmap designed for university students – interns through year 1 of full time employment – in partnership with the GMS and Corporate Learning & Development (L&D) teams.

  3. Design and execute complementary trainings, processes and communications for internal managers to ensure they are prepared to manage, develop and assess early-in-career talent.

  4. Pilot implementations, analyze training effectiveness, propose iterations and manage course matriculation.

  5. Provide appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and interns and support employee relations inquiries as needed.

  6. Provide clear communication of progress, roadblocks, updates, and future plans to GMS, University Recruiting and HRBP stakeholders.

  7. Design programs that can be leveraged globally and drive adoption and customization efforts with regional partners for local markets.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years experience in student development, HR or learning & development program management

  2. Communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the org as well as externally

    1. Ability to prioritize multiple work stream

    2. Learning and development, and program design experience

    3. Problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills

    4. Ability to handle ambiguous situations and deliver on goals

    5. Knowledge about Facebook mission and goals

    6. Ability to travel up to 25%
