As Facebook continues to grow in the consumer goods space, with multiple products spanning from prototypes to retail-ready devices, there is an immediate need to increase the level of security for confidentiality and IP related to physical product. This role will audit the current state of hardware in terms of confidentiality and will develop a robust plan to protect Facebook assets without affecting productivity. This role is responsible for IP security within designated offices and for employees who are designing or working with Facebook hardware prototypes. This role will define security standards with respect to visitor polices, engineering and manufacturing partners, and contingent workers. The successful candidate will collaborate with the internal and external teams to create processes for prototype distribution, tracking, and inventory management. Create policies for access control, taking hardware off-campus, all the way through confidential waste management
Create risk matrix for security zones within designated offices and designate access levels within these areas to protect Facebook IP.
Audit and create policies for prototype management within offices.
Standardize employee & visitor badge access level controls for offices, shops, and labs.
Partner within internal and external teams to understand what mechanisms and prototypes are on site and how they are tracked, secured, stored and scrapped.
Partner with Product and Legal teams to create documentation to take mechanisms and prototypes offsite or to share with key development third party partners.
Work with various internal teams to create a system for confidential storage and archival of Facebook IP.
Create standards with workplace design to define lines of sight and access for future offices.
Design and provide training to employees who interface with confidential hardware and IP to teach the team how to be secure.
5+ years working within a Global Security function
Knowledge of program development and technical writing.
Demonstrated skills in driving cross-pyramid projects from inception to completion, and ability to work autonomously.

Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to travel as needed (roughly 15%).
Physical Security Program Management
Supply Chain Security experience
C-TPAT Program knowledge
TAPA, ASIS or other professional security organization memberships
Experience with the development of training, processes and procedures
Multinational corporate experience
Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
