Facebook is seeking a global leader to manage our Business Integrity team’s technical solutions functions. The Business Integrity team protects users and ensures safe connections between users and businesses. We focus on Ads Integrity, Pages and Commerce verticals and ensure our platform is a high quality ecosystem for users, developers, page admins, advertisers and businesses to create and promote digital content and businesses. We are an analytics-driven operations team that thinks upstream to constantly implement solutions at scale through better automation strategies. Our focus on data analysis, machine learning, applications engineering and a robust infrastructure of back-end systems allows us to work effectively with our engineering and product teams to build proprietary tools and techniques to enforce the quality of all promoted content at scale.

Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action and enjoy finding patterns amid chaos, making quick decisions, and aren't afraid of being wrong. This position is located in our Menlo Park, CA office.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage a large global set of teams of application engineers focused on both infrastructure/tools and optimization problems

  2. Leverage prior technical knowledge to successfully drive organizational results from infrastructure & tool improvements for new products and existing processes and workflows

  3. Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product and Engineering to lead or contribute to large scale strategic projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems at scale

  4. Lead the team by being a strong voice for them and aligning closely with cross-functional partners, driving towards the same business and company goals

  5. Be able to drive the team to impact and communicate it effectively

  6. Understand business needs, context and gaps and creatively come up with possible solutions to problems by leveraging tools/infrastructure knowledge

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree in Engineering or quantitative disciplines such as math, statistics, computer science, information systems

  2. 11+ years professional work experience

  3. 7+ years of people management experience

  4. Ability to understand technical nuances, system design and communicate with a technical team as well as engineering stakeholders

  5. Ability to communicate

  6. Ability to think strategically with analytical and problem-solving skills

  7. Experience resolving and communicating about issues with both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
