Summary:

Facebook seeks an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to support its global monetization efforts and programs. The successful candidate has strong experience in developing and executing high-profile communications initiative, working with business leaders and cross-functional teams, and brings deep knowledge in the concepts and technologies for online and mobile advertising. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Menlo Park, California.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop strategies and own day-to-day execution for public relations programs related to monetization products and programs

  2. Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams across the company

  3. Educate press, analysts and other influencers about Facebook's monetization products and strategy

  4. Protect and enhance the reputation of Facebook and its products in core business and advertising markets

  5. Prepare and support senior executives for media interviews and speaking engagements

  6. Support and manage the creation of press materials and customer/partner programs

  7. Work closely with external PR agencies for monetization products and advertising as well as broader growth and product initiatives

  8. Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree

  2. 10+ years of professional experience in communications or public relations

  3. Experience working with Fortune 500 or AdAge 100 companies and at PR firms/agencies

  4. Experience working in internet, technology and/or advertising PR industries

  5. Experience working with business executives

  6. Experience working with business and bloggers to achieve communications goals

  7. Experience in managing PR agencies, contractors and project management

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Both agency and in-house experience

  2. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
