Summary:
Facebook is seeking an experienced Compensation Consultant to work with the Americas Compensation team to design and build an innovative, competitive and analytically driven compensation offering and support the compensation needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative Facebook culture as it scales in size. This position is located in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Consulting with business leaders on compensation decisions and strategy

  2. Support recruiters with compensating offers

  3. Analytics for new or existing compensation programs

  4. Job evaluations, workforce classification projects

  5. Compensation planning, program administration, comp program automation projects

  6. Responding to comp-related questions from managers, HR business partners and recruiters

Experience:

  1. BS or BA in economics, business administration or another field that uses quantitative analysis (advanced degree strongly preferred)

  2. 8 years of relevant experience in compensation analyst/consultant role

  3. A solid understanding of business/financial/talent drivers, ideally in technology companies

    1. Demonstrable partnership and influencing skills, strong communication skills, a commitment to outstanding customer support

    2. Professional/credible presence for presentations to the most senior leaders in the company

    3. Ability to work closely with HR business partners and seamlessly serve clients

    4. Strong analytical skills, mastery of Excel and PowerPoint, great comfort with HR systems

    5. Deep subject matter expertise in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: salary and incentive plan design and administration, sales compensation, international compensation, equity compensation, executive pay

    6. Comfort with juggling strategic projects and day to day work

    7. Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments and administering complex programs

    8. Familiarity with statistical packages

    9. Must have experience administering complex HR programs

    10. Experience with global HR Systems (ideally Workday)

    11. Knowledge and experience in HR strategies and practices

    12. Experience working across multiple disciplines in HR

    13. Experience with employment law and practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS or BA in economics, business administration or another field that uses quantitative analysis
