Summary:

Facebook is seeking an experienced Compensation Consultant to work with the Americas Compensation team to design and build an innovative, competitive and analytically driven compensation offering and support the compensation needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative Facebook culture as it scales in size. This position is located in our Menlo Park office.

Required Skills:

  1. Consulting with business leaders on compensation decisions and strategy

  2. Market analysis and insights for new and existing roles

  3. Support recruiters with compensating offers

  4. Analytics for new or existing compensation programs

  5. Job evaluations, workforce classification projects

  6. Compensation planning, program administration, compensation program automation projects

  7. Responding to compensation-related questions from managers, HR business partners and recruiters

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS or BA in Economics, Business Administration or another field that uses quantitative analysis

  2. 8+ years of experience in compensation analyst/consultant role

  3. Demonstrable partnership, influencing skills, communication skills and customer support

  4. Experience presenting to leadership in the company

  5. Experience working with HR business partners and serve clients

  6. Experience with analytics, Excel, PowerPoint and HR Systems

  7. Experience in one or more of the following compensation disciplines: salary and incentive plan design and administration, sales compensation, international compensation, equity compensation, executive pay

  8. Experience working in performance focused environments and administering programs

  9. Experience with statistical packages

  10. Must have experience administering HR programs

  11. Experience with global HR System

  12. Knowledge and experience in HR strategies and practices

  13. Experience working across disciplines in HR

  14. Experience with employment law and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advance degree

  2. Experience with Workday
