Facebook is seeking a highly analytical, driven, and insightful Business Operations Associate. This position will focus on Facebook’s Partnerships and New Revenue Initiatives. The role is highly cross functional and will require coordination across several groups within Facebook including Partnerships, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence. The role combines strategic analysis with sound analytical and data skills. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Monetization Finance team responsible for the business and financial analytics of a rapidly-growing world class organization. This is a full-time position and is located in the Menlo Park office.
Use data to build insights about our business performance, conducting analysis to identify trends and drivers of growth, strategically evaluating new market opportunities, and creating new metrics to evaluate the business
Contribute across multiple facets, including business analytics, risk and revenue forecasting, data management, and executive reporting
Understand key financial drivers of the business
Design, lead and execute analysis and effectively communicate insights
BS or MS in business-related or quantitative field (Economics, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or similar discipline)
3+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, analytics, or planning
Ability to problem-solve individually or in a group setting
Ability to shift priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization and control
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
Passionate about Facebook and about analyzing, evaluating, and sizing new business opportunities
Experience in business operations, investment banking/finance or consulting with a focus on technology and/or media
Other analytical tool experience
Interest in data and technology
Ability to work well independently
