This team is looking for candidates who are quantitatively and statistically trained, have excellent creative problem solving skills, excellent unstructured quantitative reasoning skills, and are good at communicating sophisticated ideas concisely. Mathematical and statistical knowledge can take many forms, and creative problem solvers can come from any industry, but the team is looking for someone who can express their insights and ideas in the language of mathematics and computational systems.

This is a full-time position and is located in Menlo Park, CA.
Recommend and drive product changes based on robust analysis of user and advertiser behavior
Work with select advertisers to do customized modeling and share resulting insights with Engineering teams
Lead projects to improve quantitative understanding of the ads business throughout the company and the online advertising industry
Manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics.
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Experience communicating technically
SQL, R, and statistical data analysis experience
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical modeling
- Experience in programming required
Experience in C++/Java
