Summary:
Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook’s success. We are looking for a Recruiting Manager to help redefine the way we recruit for Product Management, Product Design and other key pipelines such as Content Strategy and UX Research. This full time position is located in our London office. The Recruiting Manager will partner to define and execute the talent acquisition strategy for Product Management, Product Design, Content Strategy and UX Research.

Required Skills:

  1. Facilitate and lead key initiatives and projects with recruiting team, stakeholders and hiring partners

  2. Providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the Product Management recruiting team. Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Legal, Finance, PR, Growth, Facilities, HR, etc)

  3. Compile & analyze data and metrics to support business decisions and plans as necessary

  4. Define, design and implement recruiting programs for a variety of Product Management positions. This includes understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply.

  5. Partner with Facebook hiring managers to develop a detailed profile of target candidates with data-driven advice on the range of logical possibilities.

  6. Skillfully support weighing the anticipated and immediate challenges of the targeted roles, company/group strategic objectives, and corresponding opportunities to productively explore more diverse perspectives and tradeoffs.

  7. Foster trust-based relationships with the busienss, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns.

  8. Serve as a skilled problem solver and facilitator in final negotiations.

  9. Partner with Leadership and University Recruiting for Product Management.

    1. Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our knowledge management systems so as to both facilitate the search process and our overarching Market Intelligence initiatives.

    2. Leverage search and problem-solving expertise on a variety of Facebook Global Recruiting initiatives.

    3. Become a contributing member of the Recruitment Leadership team that effectively embodies and promotes the culture and values of Facebook, and lead the team to do the same.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Extensive recruiting experience within a firm or corporate environment ideally product related disciplines.

  2. Extensive leadership experience guiding recruiting teams

  3. Demonstrated success within the international media and/or technology sectors.

  4. A passionate belief in the social benefits of the Internet and Facebook, in particular.

  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  6. Effective at partnering with team and clients, including management.

  7. Prior use of talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams.

  8. Demonstrated track record of building strong working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners.

  9. Evidence of strong partnerships across a variety of functions to build on as well as create relevant, compelling, personalized and high-touch candidate experiences that align with Facebook’s values and mission.
