Sourcing is a core strategic driver of Facebook’s success. We have a world-class team working together to help drive our ambitions and scale to the next level. As a member of our team, the Product Sourcer works closely with our Recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to find candidates for our Product building organizations. We conceive practical and creative ways to surface leading talent, and we invest a lot of time activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach. We’re passionate about delivering an awesome candidate experience, and that starts with the first conversation a candidate has with us, which is more often than not with a member of our Sourcing team. We’re seeking a dynamic Sourcer who brings a level of motivation, curiosity and scrappiness to our team. This full time position will help to drive sourcing strategies across our Product Design (UX/UI), Research and Content Strategy teams primarily in London. The impact of these hires helps shape the growth and success of building brand new Facebook products with global impact.

Required Skills:

  1. Work closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization

  2. Collaborate with Coordinators and Recruiters to manage an efficient model of operation

  3. Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns

  4. Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques

  5. Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit

  6. Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders

  7. Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Deep sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team

    1. Knowledge of UX/UI and Content Strategy markets preferred

    2. Passionate about Facebook product and able to speak to our technology/industry

    3. Good eye for talent with ability to quickly screen resumes to identify fit

    4. Excellent research/sourcing skills with ability to dive deep into searches for hard-to-fill requisitions

    5. Sound candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive candidates

    6. Sharp interview skills with ability to screen for both technical and cultural qualities

    7. Solid industry knowledge with ability to understand relevant tech and functional skills, target companies, conferences and creative communities

    8. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with senior business partners
