We are looking for a full-time, experience marketing lead to drive our Platform Marketing strategy in the UK—working across multiple aspects of marketing including positioning, campaign development, advocacy, events, and targeted outreach to grow awareness of Facebook's products and programs for startups and developers. The successful candidate must have an entrepreneurial mindset, a deep knowledge of the tech sector in the UK, be a self starter with experience in B2B Marketing, and have experience driving product awareness & brand sentiment. He or she must also have experience influencing senior stakeholders in a highly complex organization. This is a full-time position, based in London, and will require occasional global travel.

Required Skills:

  1. Drive awareness & positive sentiment for Facebook's products and programs targeted to startups, developers and entrepreneurs in the UK

  2. Develop and execute integrated marketing strategy and local narrative for the UK, defining goals, measurement framework, and creative direction.

  3. Own marketing and programming strategy for local aspects of our global startup and developer programs (FbStart, Developer Circles from Facebook).

  4. Create content in partnership with internal design resources and external agencies to communicate Facebook Platform benefits to local audiences. Candidate will be an expert who can translate Facebook Platform products into clear narratives.

  5. Own our industry event program and advocacy efforts in the UK to identify opportunities to reach and engage local startups and developers.

  6. Uncover trends, data and insights to develop effective messaging and compelling outbound communications.

  7. Work with cross-functional teams in Product Marketing, Partnerships, PR, Policy and Communication to align and amplify local marketing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA Degree.

  2. 7+ years professional experience in marketing communications or product marketing, ideally, in at a technology company, startup or established B2B brand. Either in-agency or in-house.

  3. Experience with a broad range of integrated marketing, with an emphasis on digital and lifecycle marketing.

  4. Experience working in complex, cross-functional organizations.

  5. Excellent written and communication skills. Ability to distill complex product details and benefits into clear and compelling marketing content that resonates with startups and developers.

  6. Strong analytical abilities and proven project management skills.

  7. Strong developer/tech orientation, with a passion for the intersection of technology and marketing.

  8. A relationship builder, who can navigate and influence cross-functional peers and more senior management

  9. Highly autonomous—ability to drive progress with little to no direct involvement from leadership
