Facebook is looking for a high calibre business leader to join the EMEA Regional Sales & Operations team. The Operations and Strategy Planning Manager supports the EMEA sales organization in meeting its strategic objectives by driving business planning and review efforts, strategic projects/initiatives and managing/supporting the overall operating cadence of the business. Partnering with cross-functional groups to deliver programs that enable the Sales team to operate as a cohesive and integrated team, drive scalable revenue growth and operational effectiveness across the region. This person will also support the RVP and/or Regional Director(s) in managing / coordinating regionally dispersed teams, communicating a shared vision and driving cross-functional alignment as needed.

Required Skills:

  1. Business and strategic planning Support senior management in strategic, business and operational planning and ensure decisions in line with the global sales organization’s approach

  2. Ensure we have strong plans at a market (sub-region, country), vertical and account level

  3. Develop go-to-market strategy/plan for pan-EMEA opportunities, e.g. new markets, products or businesses, vertical deep dives, organizational restructuring

  4. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

  5. Provide sophisticated research and analysis (e.g. market/industry/competitive trends and insights) for the business leadership to support decision-making Strategic projects and initiatives Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for the EMEA business, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization

  6. Lead/facilitate cross functional teams to get work done, driving recommendations through to implementation

  7. Communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader organization

  8. Together with Sales Operations Team, drive operational excellence in the Sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

  9. Partner with Leaders and HR BP on Organizational Effectiveness Operating cadence and cross-functional alignment Lead operational reviews and rhythm of the business to drive decision-making and review progress on regional goals and priorities (e.g. monthly/quarterly business reviews)

    1. Drive key leadership meetings and offsites, facilitate leadership alignment on key issues and opportunities

    2. Drive streamlined and efficient regional processes

    3. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and represent the region with Cross-Functional teams

    4. Support the RVP and/or Regional Director(s) in developing and communicating a consistent vision and focus across the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree in business, marketing or other related discipline from a top-tier institution

  2. MBA a plus

  3. 8+ years of project management and/or business operations experience

  4. preferably in the digital media or internet space

  5. Experience leading strategy and operations projects at a top-tier consulting firm or in a corporate strategy/operations team

  6. Change management experience a plus

  7. Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)

  8. Strong project management and influencing skills

  9. ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  10. Solutions and detail oriented, with strong commercial/business acumen

  11. Understanding of organizational dynamics, operating experience with large and complex organizations
