Facebook Training Specialist, Community Operations in Hyderabad, India

Summary:

Community Operations' focus is on improving the health of our products and helping people understand how to use them through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions. Those who join our teams are very passionate about solving people’s issues, and are strong advocates for the Facebook community. We are looking for a passionate Training Specialist to develop and deliver an engaging on-boarding program and ongoing training experience to the regional Community Operations team. This individual will drive excellence within our training team and work to improve the overall policy and knowledge of the Community Operations team. They will be part of a team that will be building the foundation of knowledge for the Community Operations team, supporting new hires in on-boarding, optimizing the training process, and supporting the current team. Required Skills:

  1. Collaborate with the Community Operations team to understand business objectives and training needs for all new hires and tenured employees across our teams and develop the required curriculum

  2. Establish and deliver robust training to global CO to ensure smooth and rapid implementation of global programs while deploying a wide variety of training methods

  3. Partner with our internal and external vendors to develop and maintain training programs

  4. Continuously evaluate and update training materials as policies evolve

  5. Work cross-functionally with internal Community Operations teams to help improve the quality of community support, reduce risk, and scale our training functions as well as assess knowledge gaps and opportunities

  6. Working with Subject Matter Experts to support them in training delivery as needed

  7. Communicate impact, challenges, roadblocks, insights effectively and concisely to appropriate audiences

  8. Emphasize scale for global support across multiple workflows while meeting requirements for specific regional needs

  9. Ability to manage projects

  10. Gather, analyze and utilize feedback and data to constantly improve training

  11. Create and deliver development training in partnership with our L&D team

  12. Invest time spent on high touch support to gather insights on tools and policies

  13. Role requires up to 40% of travel

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 4+ years of training experience/background

  3. 3+ years experience in operations

  4. Experience with learning management systems and software

  5. Knowledge of a variety of instructional media including instructor-led, online, and virtual instructor-led training

  6. Passion for training and teaching at scale

  7. Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences and engage and influence stakeholders

  8. Understanding of Facebook Community Standards

  9. Interest in policy knowledge

  10. Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Training experience/background in the tech space

  2. Experience working directly with Operations and/or Customer Support teams' learning challenges
