Summary:
Facebook is seeking a Vertical Head to lead its Travel and Financial Services business in India. The role is focused on building strategic partnerships with leading players in the verticals to sell, evangelize, and successfully demonstrate Facebook’s advertising solutions to them. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a high-performance sales team, managing revenue growth and pipeline, and creating new opportunities for business growth. The ability to reach and influence C-level executives and drive strong relationship management top-down are essential. Candidate must have strong sales skills, a collaborative spirit and a passion for Facebook. An understanding of the mobile ecosystem would be a plus. This position is located in our Gurgaon office.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead Facebook India’s Travel and Financial Services team

  2. Create and deliver compelling sales narratives that will help the industry shift to mobile commerce

  3. Drive key account relationships with C-level decision makers in Travel & Financial Services

  4. Analyze macro-trends and consumer insights and recommend optimal strategies to partners

  5. Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service

  6. Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work

  7. Manage XFN and matrixes/regional relationships across functions like marketing, measurement, creative and product

  8. Exceed sales, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, and pricing and yield goals

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS degree or equivalent experience

    1. 12+ years of sales experience with a combination of Online media experience in a sales/commission-based role

    2. Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals

    3. Ability to effectively manage time, reach decision-makers and quickly determine opportunity potential

    4. Interest in technology and the ability to explain complex concepts in everyday terms

    5. Knowledge of social media, online advertising, and reseller channels and vertical markets a plus

    6. Excellent communication skills both written and oral

    7. Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

    8. Great team player

    9. Limited travel may be required

    10. 8+ year’s experience in managing high performance sales/operations teams
