Safety within Community Operations' focus is on understanding the high intensity issues, build scalable solutions, and work on continuously improving the health of our flows while mitigating risk for the community and business. We need influencers who can align cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for our platforms and self starters who are curious and proven team players. We're targeting an intellectually curious and creative individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity — a strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. This is a full time position, based in the Dublin, Ireland office.

Required Skills:

  1. Manage day-to-day Safety operations against quality and efficiency targets in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment

  2. Influence cross-functional teams and roadmaps across product, policy, process, systems, data/analytics and drive continuous improvement and step change innovation

  3. Gather, analyze and utilize relevant data to develop ways to improve the overall support experience and reduce incoming queue impact

  4. Analyze operational data to identify trends and work cross-functionally on solutions

  5. Identify and investigate cases that pose a high risk of harm to the community and/or business

  6. Develop methods to respond to and mitigate real world harm

  7. Develop a deep end-two-end understanding of Safety and how it affects our community

  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with XFN partners in Outsourcing, Policy, Security and Engineering

  9. Participate in on-call emergency escalation rotation as well as after-hours and weekend duty when necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree and/or masters or equivalent experience

  2. Fluent in the following languages: English + Arabic or Turkish

  3. Detective-like mentality

  4. simultaneous passion for to helping users and obtaining the truth while challenging the status quo

  5. Experience in a customer service/ technical support environment

  6. 2+ years of work experience in an ops role

  7. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  8. Self-starter, intellectually curious and creative individual comfortable operating in ambiguity

  9. Ability to critically evaluate and analyze large datasets

  10. Excellent communication skills, open, collaborative and proven team player

  11. Avid Facebook user, a passion for the product and ensuring a good user experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Fluent in other languages such as Urdu or Pashto a plus

  2. Intermediate knowledge of data tools such as SQL, SAS or other coding languages and or data visualization tools a plus but not a requirement

  3. Knowledge of other programming languages a plus
