The Facebook platform offers brand advertisers limitless opportunities to reach and engage consumers across the globe. The same properties that make the Facebook platform an ideal place for brand marketing also make the platform an ideal place to conduct ad effectiveness and consumer research. The team is seeking a Measurement Expert to partner with our Sales teams to help clients understand their consumers on Facebook and the effectiveness of their ad spend. This position will work with internal and external stakeholders to advise clients on measurement strategy and work with them on an ad hoc basis to improve the performance of their marketing. To accomplish this, the person in this role will work with many advertisers and sales leads at Facebook to move clients forward on their media and measurement challenges. They will also be tasked with executing and monitoring studies for clean execution. In order to scale good measurement practices, the Measurement Expert program aims to support many advertisers seeking to do better measurement and marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a passion for generating data-based insights. This role will challenge the candidate to not only provide strategic direction to advertisers on their measurement efforts, but also to develop strategic insights into marketing on the Facebook platform. Applicants should be comfortable in a client facing role, quantitatively oriented, focused on results, and self motivated. This is a full-time position based in our EMEA Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Work with a broad array of Facebook advertisers to support clients in measuring true business value
Use a variety of methods such as office hours, consultation sessions, and outbound communications to support the needs of the sales organization across verticals
Recommend product and solutions for different client needs and challenges as it pertains to media, marketing, or key measurement questions
Setup and monitor ad effectiveness studies for Facebook advertisers using a variety of measurement solutions and products to understand the impact of campaigns
Engage in client conversations, presentations of results, and consult internally with the sales teams to ensure the right design and setup of measurement studies
3+ years of relevant experience, media/marketing measurement or analytics experience and general love of data and numbers
Advanced Degree in Social Science (Economics, Political Science, Psychology etc.), Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or similar field
Solid understanding of online advertising and familiarity with brand advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques
Excellent communication, client interaction and strong interpersonal skills are essential
Ability to communicate complex research results to a general audience
Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Statistical analysis experience valuable, including but not limited to experimental design
Management consulting, agency, or sales experiences are highly valuable
