This role will be part of the Marketing Science Team focused on supporting our Small Business organization through the scaling of insights and solutions for measurement, audience insights, auction delivery and marketing best practices. The EMEA Marketing Science Lead will work directly with the SMB high value account teams executing proactive scalable programs in market, delivering education & training and providing consultative support including advising, executing and interpreting studies. This role is also responsible for provide regional insights and learnings to the Global Marketing Science Team to influence the scalable programs, products, solutions and support provided to the SMB Team and advertisers.

You will work closely with key cross functional teams, including knowledge management & training, marketing, sales and product to empower businesses in EMEA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising effectiveness research methods along with a deep understanding of the media industry landscape. They should be passionate about Facebook, intellectually curious, a great communicator, data-driven, a fast learner and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects.

This is a full-time position and is located in Dublin, Ireland.

Required Skills:

  1. Design programs that create measurable impact on business

  2. Identify (in partnership with SMB leaders) key areas of opportunity for the team to execute programs and have impact on growing our advertisers' businesses

  3. Develop deep relationships with key sales leaders across the globe

  4. Design end to end pro-active measurement programs on a quarterly or bi-annual basis

  5. Create ongoing plan for training of our sales, partners and advertisers for increased education

  6. Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways to leaders

  7. Work closely with cross functional teams to develop a plan to address the challenges and needs for this tier of advertisers

  8. Adapt secondary research and leverage existing data to generate relevant insights to address needs through content creation

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 12+ years from within the media, performance marketing or analytics marketing space

  2. Experience with ad effectiveness research from brand to direct response

  3. Demonstrated problem solving and quantitative analytical skills

  4. Experience speaking to technical and business audiences at senior levels

  5. Proven ability to set direction and execute in a quickly evolving, sometimes ambiguous environment

  6. Experience with mobile advertising measurement

  7. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

  8. Understanding of current media landscape and challenges advertisers face
