Facebook Client Solutions Manager in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Summary:
Facebook is looking for a global Client Solutions Manager responsible for driving business development and building out the international partnership with two Benelux key strategic clients. You will lead the transition towards a solid global setup and drive the delivery, operationalization and execution of these partnerships with cross functional teams. The role will be focused on maximizing opportunities for both clients and Facebook, by building deep relationships within the client organization, breaking through existing barriers of functional departments, driving optimal platform adoption leveraging product expertise, data analytics and measurement. For this role we are looking for an entrepreneurial, yet strategic individual who puts customers at the core of everything – someone who understands the importance of solution focussed, scaled learnings. The role is a new position, and an outstanding opportunity to drive thought leadership through platform and product expertise, acting as the go-to expert in media strategy, planning and measurement. Success in this position requires strong consultative selling capabilities, close collaboration with the global client partners, natural entrepreneurial spirit, ruthless prioritization, influential presenting and profound analytics skills. We look for an ‘enabler’ leader mentality rather than servant, and the ability to establish a strong global partnership team in a constantly changing environment with high expectations, and big focus on team work. This position will be based in our Amsterdam office, reporting into the Head of Brand Benelux, with a functional connection to the Head of Client Solutions in EMEA HQ Dublin.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead and develop global clients, together with the global client partners, to the next level of growth (‘own the growth’)

  2. Relationship management

  3. Manage and build out relationships with these clients and their key agency partners (media, creative, PMD, etc.)

  4. Drive internal and external stakeholder management fuelled by strong cross functional collaboration

  5. Operationalize global partnership delivery

  6. Enable global clients growth by driving solutions around global campaigns, product adoption calendar and scaled training solutions

  7. Develop annual planning and buying approach with global agencies and clients

  8. Partner with global teams to accelerate learning agenda and a deeply land a solid measurement strategy

  9. Identify growth opportunities (up- and cross-department) to drive new sources of revenue

    1. Build scalable analytical systems and reporting solutions
    2. Develop and aggregate deep client and market insights

    3. Develop trainings, global toolkits & assets, set up processes & parameters, best practice sharing

    4. Lead Innovation Opportunities

    5. Be the go-to-expert for platform & product

    6. Drive product innovation based on client needs rather than implementing existing solutions

    7. Define lighthouse innovation opportunities with focus on projects that unlock new sources of revenue

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Min 8-10 years previous experience in marketing, media and/or consulting companies

  2. Experience within the marketing industry and business development trends within the industry, preferably with a Consumer and/or Tech expertise

  3. Experience in working effectively with XFN teams, across all levels of senior management (internally and externally)

  4. Experience of working in matrix organizations, being a strong orchestrator

  5. Advanced Excel skills preferred, experience with analysing datasets delivering upon actionable insights

  6. Need for strong project management, communication and prioritization skills and internal/external partner management

  7. Ability to communicate, collaborate and work effectively in an experienced team

  8. Ability to confidently present to external clients

  9. Strong understanding of Facebook user behaviour, and how technology works

  10. Strong passion for Facebook and our mission

  11. Understanding of major advertising success metrics

  12. Avid knowledge of competitive set

  13. Fluent in Dutch and English

  14. Willingness to travel 25%-40%
